We are delighted to invite European Freedom Network
partners to our 3rd major gathering.

Why “Bridge 2015”? Because EFN is all about providing a bridge to freedom for those exploited by human trafficking &/or sexual exploitation. Individual ministries are planks in the bridge. Only by strengthening the collaboration between us, building each other up and looking at the big picture can the bridge be strong.

Bridge 2015 will give plenty of opportunities to pray, reflect, learn, network, strategize and be encouraged.

Our devotions will be led by Viv & Sheila Thomas (OM).

  • We will learn how to measure and increase our impact with the help of Glenn Miles (Chab Dai).
  • How do we work closely with the authorities and keep our Christian distinctiveness? Anne Read will speak from experience (Salvation Army UK).
  • We will meet with Christian politicians so that they learn from us, we learn from them and together we can improve policy and practice.
  • We will meet with Romanian politicians and officials to explore the best of what is happening in Romania and what more can be done to combat human trafficking.
  • And there will be many more amazing sessions thanks to our fantastic EFN partners.
  • The daily schedule for Bridge 2015 can be found here, at

We look forward to seeing you there!

We’d like to thank these people & organizations who have given financially to make Bridge 2015 possible.

We also want to thank Reach Global, Vineyard Bern, Debora Alder-Gasser and many others.

You can request an invoice from at least ONE MONTH PRIOR to the conference.

The preliminary programme will be posted online by the end of January.

Most sessions will be held at the Regina Elisabeta Conference Hall in central Bucharest. On Wednesday, our morning sessions (and lunch) will be hosted at the Romanian Parliament.

Will there be translation at the conference?

The conference language is English. We are sorry that we cannot provide interpretation.

What about transportation? How do I get there?

Bucharest has an international airport with good flight connections. Detailed information about transportation options will be available soon; taxis are cheap and easy to book from a kiosk at the airport.

Can I arrange my own lodging?

You can. However, the Bridge team has negotiated VERY good rates with the conference hotels. Do consider staying in a conference hotel if possible; all are in walking distance of the conference venue.

Will there be wi-fi access at the hotel and conference venues?

Free wi-fi is available at the conference hotels, but there is no connection in the conference venue.

What is the dress code for the conference?

Casual clothing is fine for most of the conference sessions. Please bring at least one professional/business outfit for the Wednesday meetings at the Romanian Parliament.

What are some good ways to network at the conference?

The friends you make at Bridge can be a wonderful source of information and support. Here are a few hints for making the most of your time!

  • Bring a lot of business cards to exchange with people you meet. When you receive a business card, write the expertise of that person on the back of the card. The contacts you make at the EFN Bridge conference may well come in handy later!
  • Don’t be afraid to ask questions, especially of people who have attended EFN’s previous conferences.
  • Review the participants’ list to see who is working in a country or on a topic of interest to you, and try to meet those people at the conference. We will send you a list shortly before Bridge begins.
  • Get to know your EFN Core Team members while you are at Bridge. They know many of the partners, may be able to answer questions, and are eager to know more about you and your project! It’s always great to put a face with a name, and it can make communication easier in the future.
  • Feel free to bring information to share about your project. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate the first 15 requests for full stands, so let us know early if you would like to display materials.
  • If you know of others who would benefit from being at Bridge, feel free to invite them. However, all participants will need to become EFN partners, including going through our simple security clearance system before registering.
